職場的「多元」及「共融」
根據顧問公司McKinsey的調查指出，性別及種族多樣性較低的公司整體獲利會比包容度較高的公司低 29%。同樣，公司性別多樣性指數較高的管理團隊相比這方面指數較低的公司，表現亦比較出眾，用數字來看大概高出 21%。我們可以看到著重共融文化的重要性，管理團隊的多樣性愈高，表現愈佳。而企業擁有多元共融的理念，更能吸引與留住人才。
但事實與數據卻不一樣。根據Josh Bersin與全球800個人力資源管理專業人員的調查所得，40%的全球企業並沒有「多元」及「共融」的策略。76%亦沒有任何這方面的實行目標。75%並沒有將「多元」及「共融」放進管理人員的培訓中。只有 32% 的全球企業要求對員工作出這類型的培訓，而當中只有三份一的公司為經理級別提供培訓。最後，全球只有 22% 的受訪者相信公司在「多元」及「共融」上作出努力會讓員工及客戶更認識這方面的資訊。

According to research by McKinsey, companies with low rates of gender and racial diversity are 29% more likely to be less profitable than their more inclusive competitors. Similarly, companies with higher gender diversity on executive teams have a 21% likelihood of outperforming companies that scored low on gender diversity. The business case for having an inclusive culture is clear. Greater diversity among executive teams perform better. Businesses with stronger commitments to diversity are also more likely to attract top talent and improve customer and employee satisfaction.

While the possibility of a resurgence in cases cannot be underestimated, Hong Kong has at least been able to resume some semblance of business normality and is now dealing with the ‘problem’ of enabling staff to return to work.
