Lauren Zhao

Lauren Zhao is Managing Director, UPS Hong Kong and Macau. Lauren has overall responsibility for UPS’s package delivery and supply chain business entities, as well as strategic business planning in Hong Kong and Macau.

 

Prior to this, Lauren was Vice President of Freight Forwarding of UPS China. She was responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness and overall strategic growth of air, ocean and rail freight forwarding services in China. Lauren joined UPS in 1993 as Fritz’s Ocean Freight Customer Representative in Tianjin. She was named SCS Tianjin Branch Manager in 1999, and was SCS Suzhou and Kunshan Branch Manager in 2001. Lauren was appointed Senior Manager for Beijing Olympics Distribution Center in 2006 and was instrumental in the successful execution of the Games’ logistics. She accepted the assignment of North China SCS Area Manager in 2009, and was East China SCS Area Manager in 2011. Lauren was promoted to China District Freight Forwarding Operations Manager in 2013.

 

Lauren holds an EMBA from Nankai University (2011) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Scientific English from Tianjin University of Technology (1993).
