Leasing and project management positions
Sino Land
One of Hong Kong's leading property developers, Sino Land, is looking for leasing managers and senior leasing managers for its retail, commercial and residential properties across the city.
"We are looking for candidates with over eight years of solid leasing experience," says Alice Ip, executive director at Sino Land, which employs more than 10,000 people to service its vast and varied property portfolio.
"The incumbent needs to be strong in liaising with tenants and prospects, and well versed in the relevant statutory requirements, regulations and licensing requirements," Ip adds.
In addition to leading a team on the company's day-to-day operations, including budget preparation and tenancy administration, the job requires a wide range of skills to drive and supervise professional leasing services, such as the positioning of investment properties, co-ordination of takeover and handover of premises, management of fitting-out and renovation works, and monitoring rates administration.
"We are seeking candidates who are strong and dynamic leaders, are results-driven with a passion for accomplishment, and who have strong inter-personal skills to foster good business relationships with tenants and business partners," Ip says.
Ideally, she adds, applicants should have good communication skills in both English and Cantonese, and speak Putonghua fluently too.
Project managers and senior managers with relevant qualifications and over eight years of experience in managing sizeable developments are also in demand.
"The incumbent also needs to have experience in liaising with the relevant government authorities," Ip says.
A senior project manager is in charge of the overall planning, implementation and quality control of sizeable mixed-use developments of the group.
Ip says the right candidate should be results-oriented with a passion for excellence, possess a high level of initiative and attention to detail, and have a strong sense of ownership.
"He or she must have integrity and good project management and supervisory skills, to co-ordinate the work and communicate with personnel to ensure the on-time completion of projects to the highest of standards," Ip adds.
The company offers its staff extensive training and development opportunities, including education sponsorships. Children of employees are also motivated to study hard with potential scholarships and bursaries offered by Sino Land. Family time is encouraged with the two-day paternity leave and holiday accommodation for staff.
