I have just finished all my subjects for Civil Engineering in Australia, and I wish to work in HK (or anywhere for that fact, inc. China, Taiwan, Singapore etc). The engineering job market here is in a decline and it is hard finding work especially with no experience.

In most cases, a Bachelors degree from Australia is recognized world wide. I can speak Cantonese, basic reading and writing skills in Chinese and plan to improve on them.

Are there many HK engineering companies taking in interns/graduates at this time (start of 2014)?
