薪資福利往往是求職者在挑選公司時重點考慮的因素，如何用英文準確表達各種薪酬和福利呢？下面和大家一一揭曉。

很多時候，薪酬待遇不單指每月拿到手的錢，而往往是一個 package（薪酬待遇組合），包括薪金和其他福利，試看下面的例子：

Many argue that the pay packages offered to top executives are excessive. 
許多人認為高層管理者的薪酬過高。 
The company tries to match the benefits packages offered by other employers.
這家公司比照其他雇主的標準，盡量給予同等的薪酬待遇。

薪金最常用的英文單詞是 salary，一般用月薪或年薪表示，月薪是 monthly salary，年薪則是 annual salary，如下面的例子：

an annual salary of $40 000
 四萬美元的年薪 
The average monthly salary for an unskilled worker is $550.
非熟練工人的平均月薪為 550 美元。

薪水另一個常用的單詞是 wage，通常指按週領取的工資，而表示時薪、日薪或最低工資時一般也用 wage，如下面的例子：

an hourly/a daily/a weekly wage
時薪；日薪；週薪 
workers on minimum wage
領取最低工資的工人

有些職業除了基本工資以外，還有其他的金錢收入，如 commission（佣金）、bonus（獎金；花紅）、allowance（津貼）等。對於打工仔來說，最好當然是升職加薪。定期的加薪，英文用 increment。因工作出色得到業績獎勵可以用 merit 一詞，merit 後面能加很多相關的詞，如 pay、award、bonus 等等。remuneration 是較為正式的詞語，指酬金、報酬。一起看看下面的例子：

a salary of £25 K with annual increments
薪酬 25 000 英鎊，並逐年增加 
After three months you will move to the next point on the incremental scale.
三個月後，你將移到常規增薪幅度表上的下一級別。 
a merit award/bonus/pay/increase/raise/rise 
業績獎勵；業績獎金；績效工資；業績加薪 
Including pension contributions, his total remuneration for the year was €52 000.
包括養老金繳款在內，他全年的總報酬是 52 000 歐元。

至於員工福利，最常用的英文是 benefit，通常用複數形式 benefits，另外 perk 也很常用，指額外的福利、補貼。試看下面例子中不同的福利：

Benefits include health insurance and a pension plan.
福利包括醫療保險和養老保險。 
Free meals are one of the perks of working in a restaurant.
免費用餐是在餐館工作的額外待遇之一。 
Jobseekers rated flexible hours as a better perk than a company car.
與公司配車相比，求職者更看重的是靈活的工作時間。
