How can I navigate into private sector compliance?
I have worked in compliance in the public sector for my entire career and have reached a point where I am pondering a move into the private sector as I think that will open up a greater variety of career opportunities long term. I do, however, worry that I might be at a disadvantage. What can I do to put myself on equal footing with those who already have good private sector experience? Will it be necessary to retrain or do any particular courses? Also, what sort of compliance skills are currently most in demand?
