Having merged with Igor's Group of restaurants early this year, the Café Deco Group is expanding fast and is continuously looking for operations staff to add to its 600 employees in Hong Kong, Macau and Sydney. Managerial positions are also open at different levels.
"We are looking for candidates who have a high sense of responsibility and who are proactive, energetic, and have a can-do attitude," says human resources manager Joanna Sun. They should be able to speak Cantonese as well as English.
New hires should have relevant food and beverage experience. Less experienced staff may be offered junior positions and allowed to gradually grow with the company.
"Since the Café Deco Group has more than 40 restaurants in Hong Kong, there is always an opportunity for potential career development," Sun says.
"As one of the largest restaurant groups in Hong Kong, we provide our staff the opportunity to work in [several] outlets, so that they can gain experience in working with different people in different environments."
They organise a staff party once every two years to thank them for their hard work and contribution.
The company explores business opportunities in new areas, including the mainland, with the aim of making Café Deco Group one of the biggest food and beverage players in the region.
