Those who make it all the way through the application process for the latest Classified Post Shadow a CEO Programme will get to choose one of five senior executives to work with, based on their career aspirations.
The twice-yearly programme offers the opportunity to spend three days seeing the business world through the eyes of someone who has made it to the top. Successful “shadows” get to participate in a whole range of corporate activities, from joining high-level executive meetings and department strategy sessions to going out for site visits, brainstorming with senior management and much more.
For those starting out in their careers, such insight could play a vital role in acing a job interview, or in marking them out among their colleagues for greater responsibility or early promotion prospects.
The programme invites applications from students and recent graduates, who submit their CVs online together with a short motivational essay. Shortlisted candidates are invited to be individually interviewed at the forum by a team of consultants from recruitment firm Robert Walters.
The final interview stage will see participating companies each interview six candidates, of which up to three will be selected by each one. The programme will take place in May and June 2017.
You can find out more details of the five executives and what they have planned for their shadows over the next three pages.
